1. Check Overhead Clearance (25–30 ft)
A raised dump bed requires at least 25 to 30 feet of vertical clearance. Choose a drop spot clear of low power lines, service drops, and tree branches.
2. Verify Gate & Driveway Width (10–12 ft)
Tri-axle dump trucks and aggregate trailers require a minimum 10-to-12-foot straight entry width and firm, level ground that will not sink under a 22–25 ton payload.
3. Mark Your Drop Zone
Place cones, stakes, or a tarp where you want the pile dumped. If you need a tailgate spread on a straight driveway run, let dispatch know when ordering.
